By law, all individuals wishing to sell travel services must meet TICO’s Education Standards and obtain the required Travel Counsellor Certification. Included in this package, you will receive a TICO login and password, access to the study manual and pre-paid online exam.

You have 6 months from the time of purchase to complete the exam.
Note: Successfully passing the TICO Education Standards exam allows you to sell travel services or provide travel advice to the public on behalf of a TICO registered Ontario Travel Agency. It does not mean that you are registered to sell travel services in Ontario.

Three months of one-on-one monthly meetings (1 hour each) to help you with your start-up including setting up your business structure and government registry/regulations, self-marketing and branding, finding your niche, business and marketing plans, and goal-setting and budgeting. Worksheets and references will be provided with accountability follow-ups.

*The TICO exam is valid for up to 6-months from the time of purchase and is valid for one exam. The business coaching and training program are valid for up to 1 year from the time of purchase. Failure to attend the meetings and training webinars within 1 year will result in a forfeiture of the program. The travel agency hosting program is valid for the calendar year in which this package is purchased. The Independent Agent Contractor and annual hosting fee needs to be renewed each calendar year in January.
*Note that you will not able to promote or sell travel through our host travel agency until you are TICO-certified and completed the 5-week training course.
